Bakali’s Story
For Bakali, school is a place filled with opportunity.
“I come to school every day because I am happy to learn new things.”
At AsOne, Bakali is receiving a quality, Christ-centered education that is helping him understand the world around him and imagine what his future could hold. One of his favorite things to learn about is how to care for the resources in his environment—from animals and plants to water.
And what Bakali learns at school doesn’t stay in the classroom.
“When I go back home after school, I tell my parents the new things I have learned.”
That’s the ripple effect of quality education. What begins with one student has the opportunity to reach a family and, eventually, an entire community.
Bakali already has a vision for how he hopes to serve others in the future: he wants to become a lawyer and help people solve their cases in court.
