How AsOne Grew My Faith
When Ronald first arrived at AsOne, faith felt more like a distant concept than a lived experience. Although raised hearing about God, a personal relationship with Jesus seemed like something for “other people,” not for him.
“I would’ve said I believed in God,” he admitted, “but I didn’t know Him.”
That all began to change when he joined the team at AsOne. Here, faith isn't just talked about on Sundays—it’s woven into the daily rhythm of life. From early morning staff devotions to prayer times, chapel services, and deep Bible studies, Ronald encountered something different: a faith that was alive, real, and personal.
Little by little, these daily rhythms transformed into a heartfelt connection. The more he engaged with the Word and watched others live it out, the more his heart was stirred. God wasn’t distant anymore—He was present, active, and inviting him in.
“These times of prayer, Scripture, and community—they changed everything for me,” he shared. “Through them, I’ve come to truly love Jesus Christ.”
Today, faith is not just part of his life—it’s at the center. It influences the way he teaches in the classroom, serves his students, and encourages his peers. His transformation has become a testimony, not just of personal growth, but of the kind of environment AsOne creates—a space where God invites his children in and lives are forever changed.
Thank you for partnering with us in AsOne’s mission to end spiritual, relational, and economic poverty—one person and one community at a time. Your support is transforming lives like Ronald’s every day.
