Quarterly Update - Looking Ahead in 2026
Letter from the Executive Director
Looking Back with Gratitude, Looking Forward with Expectation
As we reflect on the year 2025, our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for all that He has done through AsOne Ministries. This has truly been a year of progress—one marked by growth, faith, and visible impact.
Like the faith described in the parable of the mustard seed, we have seen God grow this work far beyond what we once imagined. In 2025, we reached seven operating communities and diligently prepared an eighth, set to launch at the end of January.
We are deeply grateful for the increasing impact across the communities we serve. This growth is not something we take lightly. It stands as a testimony that when we step out in obedience to God, He faithfully walks with us every step of the journey.
This year also marks 10 years of God’s faithfulness. We would not be here without Him—and without the friends, partners, donors, and prayer warriors who have stood with us, prayed for us, advised us, and generously supported this work. Together, over the past decade, we have seen lives transformed and communities strengthened for the glory of God.
As we look ahead, we do so with deep faith and great expectation. We believe God is calling us to continue this journey together—impacting more lives, expanding into new communities, and intentionally developing people as they discover and live out their God-given potential through community development.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Happy New Year!
With gratitude and hope,
Henry Iwumbwe

AsOne’s Core Value - Relationships
We believe lasting change starts with relationships. This glimpse highlights how one of AsOne’s Core Values, Relationships, guides our work.
What and How We’re Learning
In 2025, we listened closely to the communities we serve. Through 16,000+ surveys, we learned what’s working—and where we need to grow—and we’re using those insights to sharpen our impact.
In our schools, families affirmed that strong parent–teacher relationships are our greatest strength. Transportation emerged as our biggest challenge, and we’re responding by investing in additional vans to improve student access. At the same time, 91% of students told us their relationship with Christ has grown through AsOne—reinforcing our commitment to keeping discipleship at the center of education.
In health, patients highlighted medicine availability as a key strength while pointing to accessibility as a barrier. We’re responding by expanding health outreach programs to bring care closer to those who need it most in the Districts we operate.
In agriculture, 80% of the farmers in our training programs have seen a noticeable increase in their crop yields after 2 years. In enterprise, 86% of participants experienced a wage increase. Looking ahead, we are doubling down on demonstration farms and strengthening job-readiness training so that growth leads to lasting opportunity.
Finally, we integrate discipleship across all of our programs, helping our beneficiaries deepen their relationship with Christ and shaping stories like this one
Learning drives improvement—and improvement fuels lasting impact.
Expansion Updates
1) Opening Pallisa - Community #8
Our team is excited to open the new nursery and primary school and health center in Community #8 – Pallisa, on track to open later this month. The school will welcome up to 350 students, and the health center aims to serve 7,500+ patients.
This past quarter, we completed construction on our Nursery and Primary School and Health Center in Pallisa, hired new team members, and began engaging the community to market these new programs. We’re excited to see them come to life and the difference they will make in Pallisa.
Thanks to your partnership, quality, Christ-centered education and healthcare are reaching a community that has long been underserved. Thank you for making this possible.
2) Construction in Namutumba - Community #9
This fall, we acquired land in our ninth community—Namutumba—to launch a new nursery and primary school and health center. Located in eastern Uganda, Namutumba is home to more than 300,000 people, many of whom rely on subsistence farming and informal labor while lacking access to quality education, basic healthcare, and stable employment.
We are excited to begin construction in 2026 so these Christ-centered community programs can open at the start of 2027—bringing durable resources that demonstrate hope and opportunity to families who need it most.
3) Construction Projects in Current Communities
We’re thrilled to continue other key construction projects in 2026, expanding the impact God is making in rural Uganda. Here are a few highlights:
Building a high school in Luuka
Building a high school in Serere
Building new dorm capacity at all of our first five schools
Looking Ahead to Q1, 2026
As we enter the first quarter of 2026, we are committed to entering the year strong in alignment with our strategic plan. Focuses for this quarter include:
We will launch and strengthen programs that expand opportunity
We will open and grow key programs across Uganda—including new schools and vocational skill training centers, health outreaches, and agriculture initiatives in new locations—reaching more students, families, and communities while deepening quality across education, discipleship, and economic development.
One of our newest enterprises, AsOne Grain Millers–Mayuge, launched in early 2025 and quickly began serving its community, recently reaching a major milestone by earning Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) certification. This certification opens access to formal markets such as schools, hospitals, and supermarkets, strengthening pricing power, and supporting long-term sustainability. Catch a glimpse into the work!
We will invest in people, leadership, and organizational health
We will prioritize staff development through onboarding, leadership training, discipleship opportunities, and clear role alignment—building a unified team empowered to bring lasting change to rural Uganda.
We will expand our leadership development programs through our Emerging Leaders Cohort, which will kick-off in February.
We will strengthen the systems that support long-term impact
In the next 90 days, we will continue building strong foundations through improved learning that will continue to ensure strong internal controls, resources for children and students, and feedback to ensure greater quality is provided to customers.
