What’s coming in 2023

We have a big goal.

Together, by 2025, we will have five fully-operating communities in Uganda. Each community will have an AsOne school, clinic, farm, and two businesses.

Already, we have two fully-developed communities: Namayemba and Rwanyabihuka.

Idudi and Kaberamaido are both operating at 75% of our goal and Matuba, Mayuge is at 25%, but we're making strides to develop these locales with AsOne's sustainable model. This is all a key component of our 2025 vision—and you are helping us make significant strides in that direction.

Details of what’s to come for AsOne:

In 2023, we will devote a great deal of attention to Mayuge as we launch a new Nursery & Primary School, which will officially open in February of 2024.

We will also have a new farm in Matuba, Mayuge, starting next month. Also in April, AsOne will expand the Namayemba clinic to add much-needed delivery services.

In Kaberamaido, we will be expanding the existing AsOne school to add the high-school level, set to open in February of 2024. Currently, most graduates of our Nursery & Primary School have to travel over 70km to Soroti for high school (see the map below for reference)—so we sensed the urgent need to open a branch of AsOne High School in the Kaberamaido District.

Thank you for investing in sustainable transformation!
