Frank's Story: A Father's Hope
Every parent dreams of giving their children opportunities they never had. For Frank, that dream once felt out of reach.
Life was a daily struggle. Like many farmers in rural Uganda, Frank worked tirelessly to provide for his family, but hard work alone wasn't enough. Without the knowledge and skills to farm effectively, his harvests were inconsistent, making it difficult to provide for his family or plan for the future.
Looking back on those days, Frank simply says, "Before AsOne, my life was not good."
Everything began to change when he joined AsOne's agriculture training program.
Through practical, hands-on training, Frank learned farming techniques that helped him increase the productivity of his land. As his harvests grew, so did his confidence. Farming became more than a way to survive—it became a way to build a more stable future for his family.
One of the greatest changes has been the opportunity to educate his children.
With a more reliable income, Frank is now able to send them to AsOne schools, where they are receiving a quality, Christ-centered education is affordable. Alongside their studies, they are growing in their faith, developing strong character, and preparing to become leaders in their communities.
For Frank, this is what matters most.
"I now have hopes for my children… that they will grow up to fear God and be great leaders in the future."
Frank's story is a reminder that transformation doesn't stop with one person. When a parent is equipped with the knowledge and opportunity to provide for their family, the impact extends to their children, their community, and generations to come.
