When Jennifer was a young child, she lost both of her parents—one to medical complications, the other to mental health challenges—leaving her orphaned and alone. With no stable home, no access to education, and no clear path forward, her future was uncertain.

Everything began to change when she enrolled at AsOne Nursery and Primary School in Idudi. There, she found consistent support, a safe environment, and access to quality education. More than that, she found a sense of family. Today, Jennifer is thriving—both academically and emotionally—a powerful example of how supportive, Christ-centered schools can change the course of a child’s life.

Unfortunately, her story is not unique. Many children in Pallisa face similar hardships, made worse by the lack of access to quality education and reliable healthcare. Without a nearby, quality health center, treatable illnesses become life-threatening. Without strong schools, children are denied the foundation they need to break the cycle of poverty.
